P3 VIA Food Donation
In collaboration with Food Bank, the Primary 3 pupils conducted a Food Donation Drive for 3 days from 23-25 July as part of their Values in Action (VIA) project. The food collected from the school will be distributed to the needy. The aim of the project is to spread the awareness of food wastage and to encourage the reduction of food wastage.
The Primary 3 pupils drew posters and wrote handwritten letters to inform the school of the food donation drive. They also managed the donation drive booth, checked the food items donated and sorted out the food items to the different categories before packing them into boxes.
Through this project, the pupils have learnt not only the importance of reducing food wastage but also teamwork as they work together to ensure the donation drive ran smoothly.
