Who we are

Pei Tong choir (PT Choir) consists of not just pupils who love to sing, but teachers as well.  It is not just simply a CCA, but a family where we learn and grow together. The choir is currently helmed by Mr Lim Zi Kai,
Mr Darren Lee, Ms Erika Yap, along with conductor, Ms Khor Aiming.

As a performing Arts group, choir provides a place for students to develop holistically, especially in the aesthetics aspect. The members learn proper singing techniques, using their voices to create beautiful tone, as well as basic theory for deeper understanding and appreciation of the music they sing. Choir members are exposed to a wide range of repertoire, ranging from classical to folk to popular, including songs in different languages and from various cultural backgrounds. There are ample performance opportunities for choir both in school and in public. Choir also seeks to serve the community by performing for the elderly in the yearly Community Lunch event in Pei Tong. Choir participates in the biennial Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation and was awarded certificate of distinction in SYF 2014.
